Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Michael Matros graduated from Duke University and earned an MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His fiction and poetry have appeared in Thema, The Greensboro Review, The Above Ground Review, and other publications. He now lives in Keene, New Hampshire.
